Leffler Energy Truck

History

A history of commitment.
Leffler Energy was created with the merging of two respected and long-time fuel services companies -- The SICO Company and Carlos R. Leffler, Inc.

In 1876, Schock Coal and Lumber of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, the predecessor to The SICO Company, added kerosene to their list of products. Shortly thereafter, gasoline, fuel oil, motor oil and grease were added to the list. Since 1955, the company has expanded its business to include southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

The Carlos R. Leffler company was formed in 1941, when 17 year old Carlos borrowed $380 from his father to buy a truck to transport fertilizer, coal and milk for farmers throughout Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. A short time later, he began providing fuel oil deliveries. Since 1941, Leffler Energy has been providing coal and petroleum products and services to homes, businesses, government agencies and agricultural operations throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania.

With over 180 years of combined experience, Leffler Energy, is solidly committed to providing customers with one standard of excellence and a superior level of service!
